The BRAD tamping unit was designed for tamping in rail gangs, tie gangs, new construction or anywhere spot tamping is required. With a production rate of up to 360 ties per hour, the BRAD tamper features two tamping heads with adjustable depth, eight elliptic vibratory tamping tools, manual or automatic tamping cycles and the ability to tamp twin ties. An optional four-tire off-tracking device is available.
