The crane can pick and carry heavy turnouts with 13-foot overhead clearance, 66 feet from the coupler. Bridge panels of 125 feet weighing 88 tons can be installed. Use in super-elevated curves up to 6 inches will not reduce its carrying capacity. A 12.5 degree lateral swing will reach the center line of the second adjacent track. As this crane operates without a counterweight, its operation does not interfere with the adjacent track for improved safety, the company says. Signaling and power masts, walls and other obstructions do not pose a problem when changing the working direction of the crane, the company says.
