The company has developed a new version of its Brontosaurus Brush Cutter that allows the mower to be used with other types of carriers, including certain Gradall, Geismar, Atlas and Burro models with telescoping or articulating booms for on-track and off-track applications. Units with auxiliary power packs offer more than 100 horsepower of hydraulics to power tamper, hammers, generator/magnets and other work tools when the mower head is removed. Production varies with terrain and material to be cleared, and can reach up to 35 acres in one week with one mowing unit, the company says. The unit's seven-pound, high-carbon steel knives swing freely on the shafts.
