TUV Rheinland Rail Sciences says it is proficient in the use of VAMPIRE & LS-DYNA. VAMPIRE is a vehicle dynamics model that can assist in the design and evaluation of track geometry by modeling any combination of vehicles, speeds and track geometry conditions. Additionally, VAMPIRE can be used to input customer track geometry to assess derailment risk across any territory by modeling any combination of cars and speeds over the track and predicting L/V ratios. LS-DYNA is used to perform stress analysis and the loads on a given structure under dynamic conditions such as impact.
