Wilmore manufactures DC-DC converters for locomotive and wayside applications, with power ratings from a few milliwatts to 4,000 watts. For locomotives and electric rail vehicles with 36V and 74V electrical systems, the company's RT Series converters are designed to provide isolation and protection from high voltage/high energy transients while providing clean, reliable power to sensitive electronic loads, including voice/data radio transceivers and LSI/PTC equipment. For wayside applications, the company's rack-mountable DC-DC converters are available in more than 40 standard input-output configurations with inputs from 12 VDC to 130 VDC and outputs from 5 VDC to 130 VDC. Wilmore also designs and manufactures custom power conversion equipment for the industry's original equipment manufacturers.
