These devices are designed to reduce the cost of OSHA and FRA Blue Flag Law compliance while improving safety. Authorized personnel control the derail from a remote location. Shown is the W-C-H DeLectric Derail Operator with Model HB Derail, Target Mount and Switch Lamp. Available in a variety of operating voltages, the units can be remotely operated from car shops or control towers, and interlocked with car pullers, overhead doors, signals, etc.
