ITT VEAM: Electrical Connectors

ITT VEAM is a manufacturer of cylindrical multi-pin electrical connectors. The company has more than 250 insert arrangements for 12 shell sizes and elastomers available in regular neoprene and a flame-retardent version, viton and silicone. These insert arrangements can accommodate from one to 159 contacts that are used in signal, power, fiber-optic, coax, pneumatic and thermocouple applications, the company says. VEAM also has hundreds of backshell options to accommodate jacketed cable, individual wires and flexible conduit. The company says it guarantees that the connectors will mate and unmate 2,000 times. Current handling capability ranges from milli-amps to 2,500 amps.
