TransTech Corp.: Featuring Landis Rail Products
TransTech Corp.
TransTech Corp. is now featuring Landis rail products, including direct fixation fasteners. TransTech, located in Sacramento, Calif., and says Landis direct fixation rail fasteners for concrete slab or steel decks have evolved over the past 50 years into a number of designs. Adaptable to both light- and heavy-rail applications, the fasteners are available for standard or special trackwork, and for most rail sections. Controlled longitudinal restraint and lateral stability are furnished by a variety of rigid or resilient rail clips providing high, low or no longitudinal restraint. The elastomeric element provides electrical isolation and can be configured to achieve a specific vertical load/deflection (spring rate) characteristic. Rail construction and maintenance tolerances are provided laterally with an adjustment range of one inch and vertically by steel shims of varying thicknesses. Fasteners can be produced with or without an integral rail cant in either bonded or non-bonded versions.
