The Floor Heater Controller functions as an all solid-state ON/OFF switch for various combinations of 480 VAC heating elements. When the Floor Heater Controller is connected to a 480 VAC, 3PH (or 1PH), 60 HZ power source, a Temperature Sensing Element, a Temperature Setting Element and the heating elements will switch the heating element ON/OFF as required to maintain the heated area at the desired temperature. Both the Sensing and Setting Elements are remotely located and connected to the Floor Heater Controller. If a fixed setting element is used in nonadjustable applications then it is connected directly to the Floor Heater Controller terminal block.
