Progress Rail Services (PRS) is one of the largest purchasers of used rail cars in North America. This in turn gives the company access to numerous used rail cars, which are in many cases, suitable for continued interchange and/or industrial service. This also provides PRS with rail car candidates for upgrade and/or modification for alternate service applications.
