The Series 1D heater car features clean and efficient burners using pressure-injected No. 2 diesel fuel and blower impelled combustion air, the company says, adding that the use of low-volatility fuel enables the car to be transported anywhere. In addition, fuel is readily available at the work site. The car is capable of producing up to 1.8 million BTUs per hour. It has a self-propelled work speed of up to 3 mph and optional travel speed of up to 30 mph.
