Siemens manufactures grade crossing warning lights, entrance and exit gate arm mechanisms, flashing lights, bells, signs and the electronic systems that activate and control them, including grade crossing predictors, crossing controllers, remote monitor/test/report systems and track activation circuits. The company provides aluminum cantilever and mast type mounting structures for the warning devices, a variety of aluminum enclosures to protect the control equipment and accessories such as battery chargers, power-surge/lightning protection devices and electrical hardware to complete the crossing system. Components are available separately or as complete, installation-ready crossing systems. Siemens also provides design, engineering and installation services.
