Hyatt TJB journal roller bearings for freight cars have been available in the Class F 6-1/2- by 12-inch size since 1994. The design has been unconditionally approved by AAR and released under certification 6B and AAR Quality Assurance Program M-1003. The bearings have been improved with cleaner case-hardened steel for additional fatigue resistance and toughness, and fitted backing rings, the company says. They also have been modified to eliminate the need for field lubrication. Hyatt TJBs are also available in the Class E 6- by 11-inch size. QS-90001 ISO-9001 certified.
