A new ground hose is half the weight of rubber hose and flexible even in the coldest weather. The cast-iron gladhands have built-in safety vent valves that enable the hose to be depressurized prior to disconnecting from the main trainline. The bright orange outer jacket is ozone and oil resistant. Double-jacket construction provides greater abrasion resistance. When unpressurized, the hose lays flat and can be rolled up and moved or stored.
