The product polymerizes under heat and pressure of the wheel flange/rail interface to form a lubricious dry-film surface. Bottom Line™ 32A is a natural, high-graphite lubricant with a low oil content for on-board lubricators, is designed to be durable and resist sand and grit to increase rail and wheel life, the company says. SLIP Plate® OEM-8 is a dry-film graphite lubricant designed to help solve switch plate friction problems by making a strong bond with the metal surface, resisting corrosion and repelling water.
