The Model B light plant's portable, compact design makes it suitable for illuminating emergency night operations or tunnel work. A hand pump allows the telescopic floodlight to reach a maximum extension of 12 feet, 6 inches. The base consists of a basket that can be filled with stone for added stability at the work site, then collapsed for easy transport and storage. Two 1,000-watt halogen bulbs provide adequate lighting, the company says. An optional power generator, Model GP-50, is also available.
