Unsurpassed visibility and operator comfort are provided by the KBR 925 Ballast Regulator by utilizing a rear-mounted engine, operator's cab with unique window placement, and joystick controls as standard. Cab headroom is greatly improved due to the clean roof design with no components mounted onto the roof. The tilt-forward feature of the cab provides improved access to major components. Ballast profiling and track sweeping are performed using a powerful 240-horsepower engine. A fiberglass engine shroud is sound insulating and has large hinged doors for easy engine access. The heavy-duty plow incorporates a skid with brace, and air-operated locking pins that hold the plow blades into position. The plow blades are a bolt-on type for easy field replacement. The standard reversible broom incorporates an on-the-fly adjustable ballast deflector. The standard ballast wings each have a capacity of 1.5 yards, and may be furnished with optional articulated templates and variable width capabilities. Available with a Brushcutter attachment with the option of a rotary or saw head.
