The Modern Track Machinery abrasive rail saws, Models MTZ-350 (14-inch) and MTZ-400 (16-inch) are fast, lightweight rail saws that feature exceptional cutting performance, comfort in use with extended disc lifetime, the company says. The Comfort Cushion™ patented device is designed to eliminate intense vibrations during rail cutting. The saw also features a patented turn-around rail vice designed to permit maximum abrasive disc usage while continually operating the rail saw in an upright position, consistently giving square cuts, the company says. The two stroke engine features electronic high-energy ignition and a patented air filtration system with cyclone pre-filtration. An optional carrying case is available. These saws are available for an electric, hi-frequency or electric power supply.
