Nolan Company, The: Nolan Low Profile Derails

Nolan Company supplies portable, hinged, and sliding derails. Portable derails are designed to be removable from the track (they can be padlocked in place to prevent unauthorized removal), and weigh 42 lbs. Available in two track sizes and in left-hand and right-hand models. Hinged derails are designed for permanent installation and come in single-end and double-end models. Available in two track sizes, single-end models weigh 150 lbs, double-end models weigh 182 lbs. Sliding derails are designed for permanent installation and come in single-end and double-end models. Available in two track sizes, single-end models weigh 260 lbs, double-end models weigh 285 lbs. All Nolan derails are fabricated from high-strength steel, are manufactured with a lower height (2-3/4 inches) above the rail head, and will derail all rolling stock including mainline, six-axle locomotives at 10 mph.
