With the NyRail LTX door roller from Trinity Rail Components, auto rack end doors roll free and easy, without any lubrication, the company says. The PTFE-lined, glass-wound bearing never needs maintenance and the NyRail LTX composite material refuses to flatten, so rollers move freely and end doors roll smoothly, the company says. When exposed to temperatures as high as 185 F or as low as -60 F, the NyRail LTX door rollers are designed to resist flattening and cracking. The NyRail composite material also cushions impacts, extending door and track service life, the company says. A precision-ground, stainless steel shaft, developed for use with the NyRail LTX roller, is offered to provide a corrosion- and maintenance-free system.
