This torch uses gasoline as fuel. The fuel is liquid until it evaporates in the cutting tip. 100-percent oxidizing flame leaves rail chemistry unchanged. The torch cuts clean and fast through dirty, thick, laminated steels, the company says. It is allowed by MSHA in all mines, including underground coal mines; is listed by U.L; recommended by the Department of Energy; approved by the U.S. Navy; and certificated by the U.S. Coast Guard.
