Model 7600 hand brake (AAR Group F) is for use on piggyback flat cars and is designed with an overall thickness of 4-3/4 inches. One hand is required for full operation. It can be released against maximum forces by turning the trip lever to the “off” position and pushing it down. It produces 4,700 pounds of force with an AAR 66 bell crank. This AAR-approved hand brake is used with either a sheave or bell crank.
