Meadoweld's Model RS-98 “Nu-Bear” provides versatility in portable, abrasive rail cutting. The 26- to 28-inch abrasive rail saw features a 180-degree saw head rotation, mounted on a heavy-duty, precision sealed bearing. The 56-horsepower “silent-pac”, air-cooled diesel engine provides ample power for a square, burr-free cut on either side of the track without moving the machine, the company says. Standard features include: patented oscillating system, pendant controlled power-feed system, “posi-lock” for quick and accurate saw head location, improved spindle design, heavy-duty rail clamps, blade storage compartment, lifting bale, parking brake and a 16-gallon fuel capacity.
