The Rapid Snow Removal System (RSRS) is a powerful advanced design for railroad snow removal and track operations. It consists of a rotary type blower, a sweeper, and a retractable side broom for third rail clean up. Powered by a 280 kW (375 hp) Diesel engine, the blower has a snow clearing capacity of up to 3,000 tons per hour and can cast snow left or right to a distance of up to 38 m (125 ft).Custom built and complying with the railroads dimensions, radius, grade, tunnel entrances and exits. Available in self-contained (no cabin) and self-propelled models.
