VIBCO offers a powerful wedge-type car shaker designed to pack more force and produce less noise than a conventional 4-inch piston vibrator, the company says. According to VIBCO, conventional piston vibrators produce 95-100 dB, whereas VIBCO's rotary piston vibrator produces 72-75 dB. VIBCO rotary piston vibrators feature 5,000 pounds of force; 6,000 vpm; no lubrication required; and require 35 cfm at 80 psi air (versus 50 cfm at 80 psi for conventional piston vibrators), the company says. The lightweight CCW-5000 (48 pounds) comes complete with standard wedge to fit standard dovetail on rail cars and reversible air flow for easy release and movement. Made in the USA.
