Teleweld offers self-propulsion available on its CWR heater car. The self-propelled car is capable of traveling up to 3 mph in work speed and up to 18 mph in travel speed. Also available is a hydraulic braking system and an emergency shut-off switch that sets the brakes, and shuts off the propane gas and engine simultaneously. The standard car has a 16-burner heating unit per rail, which is capable of producing up to 1.7 million BTUs per hour. An optional 20-burner heating unit is available that can produce up to 2.125 million BTUs per hour.
