The solid-state analog (SSA) speed indicator is designed to maintain a traditional presentation, yet incorporate the accuracy of a microprocessor control and exclusive display meter movement, the company says. An internal linearity calibration feature is designed to allow constant display accuracy to be maintained. The solid-state LED digital speed indicator provides an illuminated LED arc, and includes features such as acceleration, distance counting and an auxiliary speed display. The speed indicators are designed for the harsh environments of locomotive and rail transit vehicles, and are fully interchangeable with the electrical connections and mounting brackets of most other speed indicator systems, the company says. Versions are available for base or console mount and center cab installations. Options include a variety of speed scales, single and dual ranges, and multiple speed controlled relay outputs.
