Railquip offers GEDI lift systems ranging in capacity from 6 to 100 tons per jack. These include screw jack systems which, by utilizing a combination of several jacks, can lift trains of any length. Also available is truck-changing equipment featuring 16 screw jacks having a capacity of 20 tons each. The jacks, with spring pressure roller-traveling gear, move electrically on auxiliary rail. Each pair of the equipment's jibs is displaceable horizontally by means of a motor drive. Other features include a closed detachable gear, a motor with built-in brake, a self-locking pendulously suspended pulling spindle, and a spindle nut with self-aligning bearing and wear control.
