RBL Inc./Robolube supplies the versatile Tiger RailKut™. The RailKut is a high-performance brush cutting railroad boom mower mounted on a conventional 4x4 chassis with Railgear. The RailKut offers Two Boom Lengths, Models RK-22 and RK-24 with reaches of 19 feet 10 inches or 21 feet 2 inches vertical, 12 feet 5 inches or 13 feet 5 inches below ground level and 21 feet 6 inches and 23 feet 2 inches horizontal respectively, measured from truck centerline. Safety features include: operator seat presence switch, door shut-off switch, boom swing shut-off switch (deactivation of switches stops mower in 7 seconds), and brush guard over cab extending to front of hood. The company says it is easily operated by an efficient joy-stick-style control. The RailKut is designed to travel at highway speeds, and deploys on and off crossing in minutes. The RailKut also has several interchangeable attachments such as; Snow Blower, 48" Saw Blade, Flail Head and Ditcher. A Fire Suppression System is also available along with Chemical Application System at the Cutting Head.
