Trinity Parts & Components' track turnout panel car improves safety and performance when loading and unloading prefabricated track turnout panels, the company says. Advantages include an “A” frame design that can handle the largest #20 switch; there are no hydraulic systems to maintain and few moving parts; ability to load and transport multiple switches on one car improves car productivity and utilization; and does not require a crane at the unloading site. All that is required to unload is a backhoe or similar piece of equipment that is already on-site.
