The Hougen/Trak-Star Gas Impact Wrench quickly loosens rusted nuts in joint bar replacements. The Wrench has been designed for one-man operation and maximize operator comfort and performance. The unique impact mechanism provides high torque to remove rusted or frozen nuts while also providing high fastening strength. The new impact wrench's compact size and lightweight construction offers increased operator ergonomics and includes vibration reducing handle grips. A roll bar system protects the engine, gas tank, and throttle while it also doubles as hand holds. A forward/reverse switch is easily accessible on the top of the gearbox. Motor and throttle controls are located in easy to reach areas even allowing operation when wearing bulky gloves. Utilizing a one inch square drive, the unit can be used with sockets or auger bits.
