Control Chief says the MU & Go® is the only single-cabinet transportable locomotive remote control system on the market today. Powered by a Rockwell microprocessor-based PLC, the rugged design of the MU & Go provides safe, productive and economic remote control operations, the company says. Any locomotive equipped with an MU connector can be remotely controlled in a matter of 10-12 minutes, the company says. The cabinet weight is 86 pounds and incorporates four air hoses, one MU cable and has a built-in antenna, electric horn and bell. The system meets FRA standards.
