Delta Wheel Truing Solutions: Under-Floor Wheel Truing System (RTS1000) and Above Floor Wheel Truing System (RTS2000)

Delta Manufacturing offers railway wheel truing and wheel profiling systems. The RTS1000 and RTS2000 are effective and accurate machines that allow the rail car wheel sets to be re-profiled and re-trued at the same time. The wheel lathe is CNC controlled to ensure quality, reliability and safety. The RTS1000 and RTS2000 will keep locomotive, freight and passenger car wheels upheld and properly trued. This system will allow quick maintenance, eliminating the cost of shipping and downtime that is associated with having wheel sets trued elsewhere. Delta's railway wheel truing and wheel profiling system will provide a great cost savings. On average, a set of wheels can take as little as 2-3 hours to true depending on the condition of the wheels. This provides the opportunity to create a wheel maintenance program, in turn lengthening the life of wheels.
