Strato Inc.: Wafer Flange Assembly

The Strato wafer flange assembly is available in various configurations. The WFA version is typically used between the 3/4-inch socket weld flange assembly and air-brake valve for testing freight car brake cylinder line pressure. The products allow taking direct readings of the air-brake cylinder pressure using the built-in quick disconnect port. The assemblies provide permanent, leak-proof fitting installation, the company says. A pressure tap kit can be installed, permitting remote readings. All configurations are suitable for cars with and without empty load devices. Products are stock items and are available for shipment as needed.
