Island Radar Co. offers radar-based, non-embedded vehicle presence detection for four quadrant gate warning systems and blocked crossing detection. SmartSensor is designed to easily interface with all crossing controllers. The radar senses and detects vehicles in the crossing island permitting control of exit gates and avoiding the use of inductive loops buried in the pavement.
