NRE's wheel division provides new and remanufactured wheel sets to the railroad industry. NRE is an AAR M1003 certified wheel shop providing new and remanufactured wheel sets for freight cars, locomotives, and passenger cars, as well as providing specialty wheels. NRE can provide freight car wheel sets for outright purchase, repair and return, or unit exchange. Locomotive wheel sets' capabilities include conventional sets as well as BTRs.
