MWL manufactures a full line of forged steel wheels and axles to AAR specifications and customer requirements. The process starts with high-quality steel ingots from MWLÕs foundry, equipped with state-of-the-art capabilities for vacuum degassing and micro-alloying, the company says. Products are forged and machined to specification and inspected using the latest ultrasonic and magnetic particle methods. Product is inventoried in MWLÕs U.S. warehouse or as arranged with the customer.
