CSXT requires environmental contractor to use haz-mat spill-control kit
advertisement
CSX Transportation recently made Trident Technologies Inc.'s ProMag hazardous-materials spill control kit a prerequisite of Specialized Professional Services Inc.'s environmental safety contract.
A permanent magnet-powered leak and rupture sealing system designed to control haz-mat spills and leaks, ProMag currently is used by Union Pacific Railroad and The Dow Chemical Co.
"CSXT's requirement that this contractor be ProMag-equipped [is helping the] system become recognized as an industry standard piece of equipment," said Trident Technologies Sales Manager John Dumble in a prepared statement.
