OmniTRAX subsidiary recognized for safety in Eagle Ford Shale region

OmniTRAX Energy Solutions (OES) yesterday received the 2018 Eagle Ford Excellence Award for Safety Performance from the South Texas Energy and Economic Roundtable.

The award recognizes initiatives or products that have "significantly reduced the risk" to workers or community members in the Eagle Ford Shale region, according to an OmniTRAX Inc. press release.

OES was cited for its "commitment to having a safety culture that permeates the organization and for its education programs that have long-term results," company officials said. The judges also recognized OES for its safety action and silica exposure control plans that ensure employees have the necessary equipment to perform their jobs safely.

"We take safety extremely seriously, providing training and other resources to ensure that every one of our associates goes home in the same condition as when they arrived at work,” said OES President Justin Renfro, who accepted the award during a ceremony held in San Antonio, Texas.
