Early bird rate still available for Secure Rail conference

An early bird registration fee of $749 to attend the 2016 Secure Rail conference will be available for another week. After Dec. 11, the fee will increase by $150.

Organized by Progressive Railroading, the conference will be held Feb. 9-10, 2016, at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort in Orlando, Fla. Sessions will address managing the security of rail passengers, technologies and assets from man-made and natural threats.

The early bird price will provide attendees full access to the conference, which will include two days of educational content presented by rail industry leaders; online access to presentations; access to a product showcase of industry suppliers; multiple networking opportunities; lunch each day; and a cocktail reception.

Among the scheduled presentations are: APTA Standards for Rail Transit Cybersecurity; Railroad Security During Special Events; Emerging Technologies in Rail Security; and Drones: Present and Future Applications for Rail Security.
