Kingman Airport Authority Inc. is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in providing rail management and operating services at the Kingman Airport & Industrial Park in Kingman, Ariz.

The chosen firm will operate and maintain all of the park’s lead track and associated right of way, and manage switching operations to a wye track.

“The ultimate objective for contracting the management and operations of park rail service is to combine needed rehabilitation, ongoing maintenance, good customer service, efficient operations and business development to allow a private operator to develop an economically sustainable operation that meets the rail shipping needs of current and future businesses,” airport authority officials said in a request for proposals (RFP) notice.

Proposals are due Oct. 11. Questions pertaining to the RFP can be directed to Brenda Chastain by phone at 928-757-2134 or via e-mail at kaabrenda@citlink.net.
