JDH Co. Inc. recently broke ground on its newest grain-handling facility in Sherman County, Texas.

BNSF Railway Co. will serve the new facility, which will complement existing operations in New Mexico and Texas, JDH officials said in a press release.

"This project will enhance our service capabilities to the local agricultural sector, supporting local farmers, dairies, feed yards and other producers," said Dean McIntosh, JDH general manager of the Southwest region.

The facility will feature a double-looped rail track, high-speed unloading systems and substantial storage capacity. JDH will transport, store and process a variety of agricultural products at the site, serving the agricultural community in the Texas panhandle region.
