Paterson Grain last week unveiled its new Foothills Terminal in Bowden, Alberta.

Served by Canadian Pacific, the facility includes a 150 rail-car loop track capable of loading a full unit train in eight hours, Paterson officials said in a press release.

With two independent receiving lanes, the terminal is able to receive different commodities from each driveway without interrupting shipping operations.

It also can store 2,225,000 bushels of grain, ship 75,000 bushels per hour, clean 8,800 bushels per hour and receive 32 Super B trucks per hour. The terminal also features an integrated dust suppression system.
