USD Group LLC (USDG) has announced plans to expand its network of refined products destination terminals across Mexico, with two terminals slated for Central Chihuahua.

The Ciudad Cuauhtemoc terminal development, which is expected to be online by mid-year, will include manifest rail and truck transloading capabilities, as well as land for expansion, company officials said in a press release.

USDG is formalizing plans for a second refined products distribution terminal in Central Chihuahua, which will feature unit train, tank storage and truck loading capabilities.

"We believe our network of scalable terminals will enable our customers to more effectively meet the rapidly growing demand for refined products in Mexico," said Steve Magness, USDG's vice president, business development.

Both terminals will be served by Ferrocarril Mexicano S. A. de C.V. (Ferromex), a subsidiary of Grupo Mexico Transportes, with access to all North American Class Is.
