G3 Canada, the operator of the Trois-Rivieres and Quebec City terminals, has acquired Elevateurs Beauchemin on Route 137 in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.

The new addition strengthens G3's presence in the Monteregie region and addresses the needs for grain drying, storage and market opportunities, G3 officials said in a press release.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City and CN serve G3's terminals in Trois-Rivieres and Quebec City.

In Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, G3 aims to further embed itself in the agricultural community, providing producers with direct access to the supply chain for easier and faster grain export, bypassing intermediaries. G3 offers on-site grain drying, conditioning, and storage services, with the new elevator featuring a storage capacity of 30,000 tons.

G3 specializes in importing and exporting grains such as corn, soybeans, wheat and rye. The Trois-Rivieres and Quebec City terminals are strategically positioned to serve most agricultural producers and to accommodate ships of all sizes transiting through the St. Lawrence Seaway, G3 officials said.
