Unimin, along with CSX Transportation and Transload Solutions, now operates an ultra-high efficiency transload and storage facility on Route 2 in the southern region of the southern Marcellus in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Unimin officials said in a press release.

The Benwood terminal contains nearly 20,000 tons of silo storage capacity and can load up to 55 trucks per hour. CSX will shuttle trains to replenish frac sand inventory.
