Anacostia Rail Holdings has announced the creation of an advisory board of individuals with extensive experience in rail to help the company accomplish its objectives.

The board's membership includes former Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Administrator Ronald Batory, as well as Rodney Case, Andrew Fox and Dean Wise, company officials said in a press release.

"We are privileged to have this talented group of railroad executives assist us in strategic thinking about rail safety, revenue growth and technology," said Anacostia Chairman Peter Gilbertson in a press release. “They have diverse backgrounds and reputations as thought leaders."

Batory most recently served as FRA administrator under President Donald Trump's administration. Before that, he was president of The Belt Railway Co. of Chicago and president and chief operations officer of Consolidated Rail Corp.

Case has 30 combined years of experience in the rail industry with advisory firm Oliver Wyman, as well as Canadian Pacific and the French national freight railway FRET SNCF.

Fox comes from Anacostia as managing director and former president and CEO of the company’s Chicago South Shore & South Bend and Pacific Harbor Line railroads.

Wise is former vice president of network strategy at BNSF Railway Co. and is also a consultant for companies in transit, logistics and infrastructure.
