On Sept. 3, Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) launched a new Web site at www.fecrwy.com, which is designed to provide customers real-time shipping and tracing data.

The site includes information on FECR's carload and intermodal services, and applications enabling customers to contact their salesperson and obtain point-to-point rate quotes.

The site also features an updated system map showing locations for the 351-mile regional's intermodal yards and ramps, and transload and lumber re-loading facilities. Other online applications enable customers to download accessorial tariffs, directories and basic shipping forms, such as carload and intermodal shipping documents, and credit applications.

"Now, customers will be able to retrieve real-time tracking information and have the ability to access more of the information they need online," said FECR President John McPherson in a prepared statement.
