The New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway Corp. (NYSW) has been awarded Diversified CPC International’s (DCPC) “Excellence in Partnership” award.

NYSW has served DCPC’s Sparta, New Jersey, plant, which produces and distributes propellants, refrigerants and specialty gas products, for more than 30 years. The award recognizes the railroad’s “level of service, advocacy and collaboration,” DCPC officials said in a press release.

“This past year has brought about unique situations for supply chains in nearly every industry. NYSW worked in step with us to navigate logistical challenges with an approach that epitomized collaboration and partnership,” said DCPC Vice President of Operations Bill Frauenheim.

NYSW operates 400 miles of track across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
