North Shore Railroad and Button Oil & Propane last week opened a new 240,000-gallon, rail-served propane terminal in Northumberland, Pennsylvania.

The railroad will deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, as well as butane for manufacturing, Button Oil & Propane officials said in a press release.

Based in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, Button Oil & Propane was founded in 1933 and specializes in oil delivery and energy-efficient products.

North Shore Railroad is based in Northumberland and interchanges with Norfolk Southern Railway and Canadian Pacific.
